SHARON E. CONWAY has been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas since November 3, 1989. She began her law practice concentrating primarily in the areas of corporate and transactional law as well as business litigation. After gaining significant experience in these areas in private practice, she joined the staff of the General Counsel's Office of the State Bar of Texas in 1993 as an assistant general counsel/assistant disciplinary prosecutor. Subsequently, Ms. Conway started her own law practice oriented around her corporate, transactional, and business litigation skills and experience and added her knowledge of attorney discipline and malpractice matters to offer a unique mix of legal services to her clients. In addition, Ms. Conway became a trained mediator in 1997 after completing the 40-hour basic mediation training course sponsored by the Attorney-Mediators Institute®, and then completed AMI's advanced mediation training course so that she could offer mediation services to the community.
In 1998, Ms. Conway began working as in-house Corporate Counsel for a group of companies located in the Galleria area of Houston. Through her work with these companies, one of which is publicly-traded, Ms. Conway developed her knowledge and skills in the areas of securities law and compliance, including public and private offerings of stock and SEC filings, in addition to performing intense legal services in the corporate and transactional arenas.
In May of 2000, Ms. Conway re-established her private practice closer to her home in The Woodlands (just north of Houston), and offers corporate, transactional, securities law, business litigation, mediation, and attorney grievance defense and legal ethics services to her clients. Ms. Conway has clients and handles cases throughout the State of Texas.
Ms. Conway is listed in multiple Who's Who publications, including Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in Industry and Finance, and Who's Who in America.
